Handlung

For the young girl Bela, her mother represents the center of her universe—a source of unconditional love, comfort and trust. Yet as time passes, a horrifying suspicion begins to take shape within her: the very person she relies on most could be the source of a terrible danger. With each passing day, these mounting anxieties erode Bela´s fundamental sense of security. The world she has always known starts to crumble around her. While she struggles desperately to make sense of the unsettling events unfolding in her life, her home gradually transforms into something unrecognizable—a space filled with doubt and dread, where familiar things become strange and threatening. The central question that torments her hardens into a chilling certainty: Is the woman before her truly still her mother, or has an ominous, malevolent force already assumed her place without anyone noticing?
